    Deuxième partie : Flûte Alors ! présente « La Casata dei Medici »

    Du Moyen-Âge à l’apogée de l’époque baroque, les membres de la Maison de Médicis, à Florence, ont soutenu certains des compositeurs les plus influents d’Europe. Ce concert présente une série de portraits musicaux de membres éminents de la famille Médicis à travers les compositeurs qu’ils ont parrainés. Au programme : des oeuvres de Guillaume Dufay, Heinrich Isaac, Maddalena Casulana, Benedetto Marcello, Alessandro Scarlatti, Antonio Vivaldi et plusieurs autres.

    From medieval times through the height of the Baroque, members of the Florentine House of Medici supported some of Europe’s most influential composers. This concert presents a series of musical portraits of individual Medici family members through the composers they sponsored. Works by Guillaume Dufay, Heinrich Isaac, Maddalena Casulana, Benedetto Marcello, Alessandro Scarlatti, Antonio Vivaldi and more.

    A concert of music from here and there, from yesterday and today. At the heart of this program, new works that draw their inspiration from music from the past or from distant lands. A tribute to the recorder quartet over time and a journey across four continents demonstrating the versatility of the instrument. Original works by Fulvio Caldini, Ryōhei Hirose, Matthias Maute, Sören Sieg and arrangements of works by Ludwig van Beethoven, François Couperin, Antonín Dvořák, and Heitor Villa Lobos.

    Album Launch « Scherzi forastieri »

    Flûte Alors! invites you to the launch of its third album, “Scherzi forastieri”, dedicated to the music of the Italian Renaissance. The “jests from a foreigner” of the composer Giovanni Antonio Cangiasi are paired with the exuberant music of Nicolà Corradini, as well as magnificent madrigals. Come for a performance of the ensemble’s favorite excerpts from the album, and stay for a celebratory drink!

    Doors open at 6pm. Musical performance at 7pm.
