Flûte Alors! vous présente un concert haut en couleurs pour souligner la période des fêtes. La première partie du concert sera assurée par le grand ensemble de la Sofàbec (Société de flûte à bec de la Capitale).
Un pré-concert débutera à 13h30 avec les ensembles Flûtes en herbe, Flûte en tournée et le petit ensemble de la Sofàbec.

Mundi Splendor
Flûte Alors! and Ensemble ALKEMIA present a programme of music by the composer Johannes Ciconia (1370-1412). The impressive quantity of works left by this composer and the variety of genres and styles he explored make Ciconia one of the pivotal composers between the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. He created an abundance of music with clear and attractive textures, and eternally modern sonorities. This concert will also be an opportunity to hear new works created for the two ensembles inspired by the music of Ciconia.

Come celebrate the recorder with Flute Alors!, Bart Spanhove and the Montreal Recorder Society!
RECORDER RENDEZ-VOUS
Saturday September 30, Flûte Alors!, in collaboration with the Montreal Recorder Society, invites Quebecois amateur recorder players of all ages to come and make music with the musicians of Flûte Alors!, in the fourth edition of this special event!
The activities will include:
– different levels of interpretation workshops led by the members of the quartet
– a live conference via ZOOM by the incomparable Belgian pedagogue and recorder player Bart Spanhove on “The Secrets of Ensemble Playing”
– A performance by Flûte Alors! at the end of the day, with an opening piece featuring the workshop participants
